July 16: Today my photography class ventured into les passages couverts in Paris, which originated in the 19th century. We went to Le Passage Panoramas and one just across the street. These little arcades were brilliant. There were tons of little shops selling vintage postcards and stamps, desserts, souvenirs, clothing, art, and food. I window shopped quite a bit and even bought two postcards, one from 1945 and one from 1925 of places in the 5eme arrondissement, where I currently live! These are definitely a hidden gem in Paris’s alleyways.
